Self-discipline is one of the fundamental principles of a great education. Every student, teacher, and family at Kiily's Kids commits to a culture where learning is honored, time is treated as sacred, and every person is treated with dignity.
Punctuality
Being on time is one of the simplest and most powerful ways we honor learning.
- Students must be on time for school and all extra-curricular activities. All classes are attended punctually.
- No appointments should be scheduled during school hours.
- Students will not be called out of class during instruction.
- Sick students should stay home and return with a valid doctor's certificate.
- Permission to leave campus is granted only by the Principal, in the form of a signed permission letter.
- Parents are notified when tardiness or absences become a pattern.
Maintaining Discipline
Behavior at Kiily's Kids reflects a scholar's commitment to their learning — and their respect for the people around them.
Every student is expected to be fully committed to their responsibility of learning at school.
Behavior must be disciplined and tolerant — toward classmates, teachers, and the school environment.
We recognize and welcome the authority of parents to actively help shape their child's discipline.
Students accept the disciplinary code of Kiily's Kids Academy as part of enrollment.
Respect
Self-respect and respect for others is the foundation of everything else.
A student honors their Creator, their parents, one another, and their teachers. It is only through recognizing the worth, dignity, and equality of every person that we build a truly healthy community. All forms of bias — racial, ethnic, gender, or otherwise — are dehumanizing and have no place at Kiily's Kids.
Behavior
What is expected, what is not accepted, and how we respond.
- Acting disrespectfully or disruptively
- Talking while a teacher or peer is presenting or explaining
- Speaking negatively about the school or other people
- Failing to follow school rules or this code of conduct
- Arriving late or without regard for the school day
- Bringing weapons or endangering the safety of others
- Bringing, using, or distributing drugs or alcohol on school property
- Negative points on the school Achiever list
- Appearance before the school disciplinary committee
- Suspension from school
Every response is governed by two principles: due process, and a process that is fair, just, corrective, and educational.
Students must arrive on time for school and every school function. Consistent tardiness is treated as a matter of both discipline and character.
All students are expected to commit themselves to their schoolwork with enthusiasm and dedication — because their future is worth showing up for.
